Hello, I just purchased my DJI Pocket 2 this week and I have run in to a slight problem. When I turn off my device the gimbal goes to it's off position but after a few seconds it disengages and the gimbal is completly free and moves around. Has anyone experienced this problem before?


I don't know if it's my unit specific but it has done this ever since I got it out of the box. Any suggestions or advice will help. Thanks

This behavior is normal. To provide more time to utilize the "lock" to insert the unit in the case, the time has been increased in the very recent firmware update.

Hi, I.B.S. Survivor. Thanks for reaching out! Could check and confirm what's the firmware version of your DJI Pocket 2? We just released the V01.02.00.50 that increased the time that the gimbal stays in position when powered off in order to fit it into the cover.

If the gimbal head stayed locked in the "off" position all the time - which is done by power - then the battery would be flat next time you used it.
