I have updated DJI Mimo to the latest (1.5.8) on my galaxy S20 Ultra running OneUI 3/Android 11.
After the update, when I use DJI mimo with OM4 to shoot I video can only use 1080 or 720 @ with 1080/30fps. When I try to use the zoom functions, I get errors (e.g. - cannot switch cameras).

Any help or pointers how to fix the problem will be welcome.

If you haven't tried, you may uninstall and reinstall the DJI Mimo to see if that could resolve your ongoing concern. Please be noted that it'll delete all files stored within the application including settings. Should the same problem persists, please let us know.

Hi, again. We're sorry for the belated response. There has been some progress with the DJI Mimo and we recommend that you update your DJI Mimo to the v1.5.10 by downloading the APK File here: https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-mimo

If the same problem persists, we will recommend downgrading the DJI Mimo to v1.2.20. We will DM it to you just in case.

I understand that you can't to 4k60 on android...however I should still be able to do 4k30. When I contacted chat they directed me to update to 1.5.10 which I had to sideload the apk to do. No change. Has anyone here had any luck?

You guys are not alone! I'm having the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus with any version of the Mimo app. I'm running One UI 3.0 and Android 11. Could it be something with the One UI skin that Samsung is using? Compatibility issues? Would love to be able to have 4k. Here is the strange thing though. On my Note 9 I do have the 4k 30fps option. But it's running One UI 2.5 and Android 10. That's why I'm thinking it has to do with the One UI skin. Would changing the bootloader and skin possibly fix the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated seeing how I just bought the OM4 and a Mini 2 Drone which is freakin AWESOME!

Guys if your running One UI 3.0 and Android 11 it doesn't matter what version you try it will not work. I've tried using different Samsung phones using a S20 plus, Note 9, Note10, S20 Ultra, and a S9. Anything that has One UI 3.0 and Android 11 does not have the 4k 30fps option at all. But using One UI 2.5 and Android 10 is different all together. The option is there for 4k 30fps with all versions of the MImo App. It has something to do with either One UI 3.0 or Android 11 or the combo of the both. Would love to use my S20 Plus for numerous reasons, but just can't right now if I want 4k which is a huge bummer. I would have NEVER bought the OM4 if it didn't support the 4k, but in the advertising DJI said it did. So stuck here wondering what DJI is going to do.

Hi I'm having a same problem everyone else is having,  I have a Galaxy note 20 Ultra and only can record in 1080/30fps after the update on Galaxy store. I even uninstalled the Samsung version of Mimo app and side loaded DJI Apk from the website and still having the same problem only records in 1080/30fps. Do you have a version I can download so I can at least record in 4k/30 or 60fps..

Same problem here too, just bought the OM4 after all the hype and so disappointed that DJI practically offer zero help on this issue yet iPhone can do it no problem.

I am having the same problem and spent entirely too much time trying to figure it out. Clearly DJI does not see Android as a priority for support. I don't plan to switch phones any time soon, so I will be returning my OM 4.

I'm in the same boat. Literally can't use any features that are advertised in resolutions above 1080 or more than 30 FPS on my S10+ on android 11. Thinking I just need to return it and let my followers know that the only support I've received is to try an Iphone instead.

On top of not getting the 4K resolution on rear cam and 1080P on the front cam, I'm also having an issue with the zoom. It's so laggy and inconsistent.

@DJI any updates on your fix, or any beta version that we can use?

First got the MIMO app from Google Play store with version 1.5.4 into Samsung S20+ with Andriod version 11 and One UI Version 3.0; was seeing only 1080/30FPS for video recording. Uninstalled and got the MIMO app from Galaxy Store with the version 1.5.12; and I am still seeing the same 1080/30FPS for video recording. Can you post if any further updates will be given to resolve this 4K recording issue? Any pointers for any fixes or workarounds?

Just had a chat with 2 guys on the dji mimo app support. Nothing can be done for now on a galaxy android 11 one UI 3.0. They will send a report to the developer team, who I'm sure are well informed about this issue, but still no solution after 1month+. Are we left over...? Everything will be fine of the native app was compatible...
Not the cheapest gimbal to have it as a selfie stick that needs timer to shoot x(

It's pretty unacceptable that DJI hasn't addressed this issue yet. I was given an OM4 today as a gift and immediately realized that Mimo wasn't letting me record 4K with my Samsung phone running Android 11. It's going back to the retailer tomorrow for a full refund.

I will confirm this tonight. I apologize about the late response. I do not think I have email notifications on for this forum. I am getting 4k30fps

Edit:
I can confirm the version of mimo I am using is 01.00.07.20 per the app. I have 4k, 1080 and 720 @ 30fps. The front camera video is 1080 or 720. I have not had any issues with this app since Samsung put out the UI update.

Idk where you got that app version, as for the play store or by checking settings>apps>dji app>version I have version 1.5.12 which won't let 4k on OneUI 3.0 and DJi mimo 4

I got and update from DJi support, on the following image.
