Its caused by Infrared film called Kodak Aerochrome.

thanks DowntownRDB,  I love the old infrared films, but its not practical to strap a film camera and some sort of remote trigger to the drone, so this seems the best next thing.That said I am on the look out for a full spectrum point and shoot camera that has some way to remote trigger or trigger on a timer.

We had snow this morning, opened the curtains to a white world, unfortunately we had to go directly to the MIL's as she had her second vaccination this morning. By the time we had done that and dropped off a food parcel at the other parents it had melted.   We now have fog which I may post tomorrow.

It was -2c and hot up to 1c but it was a miserable grey day.

The effect is emulating the old Kodak Aerochrome film,  its a lovely "effect", and Id recommend you check out the app listed above.

you're welcome DAF, here it snowed on Saturday. although it has not been much. in fact he is already leaving. we are in a valley at 400 mts.

One of the YouTube's I watch is based in Madrid and they had trees collapsing over the road due to the weight of the snow.   In some places I see they had 1 meter of the stuff.

Ive never know madrid to get snow like that, and I guess they dont have gritters and snow ploughs to clear it either.

It has been one of the big problems, I think that not even the airport has enough adequate equipment

Ouch, we had snow like that in 1987 round here and we were caught out,   food got rationed as the lorries couldn't get through.
