hi good night. greetings from Mexico. my question goes to be shure dont have problems to fly my mavic pro and mavic 2 .
whats the main difference between flying with the cellphone (in this case iphone 12) or the ipad. someone told me that will be the home point location without wifi, is right?
also will be better for me to have a bigger view in the ipad but my primary use is industrial survey, and im concerned to dont have any problem when ill be in site working.

Certain features won't work with a wifi only iPad (since it does not have true GPS).
Mainly the homepoint update indeed.
Also, if you don't have data connection, the maps won't update.

Both are not the biggest deals, but that's about what I have read about it.

I only use my smartphone. You won't see too much details on any screen when outdoor.
Unless you manage to stand in a really dark place

Even with sunshades etc.

So I use my PC for that.

I fly my Mavic 2 Pro with an iPad Pro and its great,  but it can get a bit heavy as not only is the iPad heavier you also need a 3rd party mount for it.   Overall I think I prefer using my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
