I want to live stream the footage from my drone into live feed so buying the SC makes sense as it has HDMI out.  

It would also be attractive to keep this SC and later versions that may emerge as it develops to allow me to by more drones more often.  

Just my 2 cents worth.

Came here to find a solution to the same problem.  Everything updated, crap range and Fly has crashed 8 or 9 times in 4 hours of flying on the sc.

Did you ever find a fix for the app? I'm still having this issue.

I'm trying to understand,I purchased SC from Amazon and did range test with standard controller with my mavic 2 zoom and I'm saying to myself my standard controller out beat the costly DJI SC****WOW

It's unlikely that someone who got a Mini 2 for Christmas is going to invest in a Smart Controller, for sure.

But, looking at it from the other angle, with the new EASA/CAA rules, it makes sense for people with 'bigger' DJI drones to grab a Mini 2, so that they can fly in the A1 category. Many will have the SC, and so adding Mini 2 support might drive Mini 2 sales.

I agree I for one would buy the Min 2 if it worked with the smart controller

Will they update the DJI Go 4 so it shows the location in the flight records, instead of Map location.

i have been trying to update the firmware for my MA2 with no success. keeps showing an error about 75% through update. anyone have a fix for this??
