Almost one year ago that we had a big storm (Ciara) in NL and I was eager enough to film the high waters in the river IJssel at the water inlet close to Veessen.

The Mavic Pro struggled with the wind, but that was only visible in the tilted horizon when moving sideways. (corrected in post of course)

Flooded areas always make great shots, while being tough for people living there. Funny how the electric poles are raised. Never say that before.

I love these events (although they can be dangerous...)

This is a one of a kind solution (to my knowledge). Because they did not wat to move these poles, but had to find a way to stop them from being submerged (partially).
It was a spectacular sight, first they built the bases and then they lifted the whole structure with a crane.
Just a couple of meter to the right and up on the base.
I don't remember if they shut down the power too, but I guess they did.

The MP has a rather 'narrow' field of view, so I was not that close in real life.
But soon we can't fly here anymore, because vital objects will become NFZ's.
