This amazing location is located on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, UK near the town of Swanage. Actually the closest village is Langton Matravers but for best parking spot close to the Dancing Ledge look for Spyway Parking.
This are was used in the past for quarrying. Small ships could come close to the edge and get loaded with this great building material.
Ramsgate Harbour in Kent is one of the places where this stone has been used.
The flat surface of the ledge causes the tidal water to appear as if the ledge itself was in motion, hence the name.
There is a artificial rockpool blasted into the surface of the ledge and it has been used for some of the local schools.
The views of the coast in this video cover the area from about the Anvil Point Lighthouse on one end to Winspit Quarry and St. Andhelm's Head in the other.

You're very welcome. - Essex here and no flying due to the rain and lockdown
I'm local to Dorset. Also not flying at the moment. Just had two weeks off and now weather to fly.
The drone footage for this was shoot couple of years back and the ground shots some time last year when I was testing a new camera.
Just needed a project to take my mind off the bleaknes.

I can certainly agree on the bleakness, its been raining here since the weekend and probably wont have many gaps before Saturday.

Thanks a lot for great comment. I believe the music often makes the video. It's like a glue that holds it together.
You're very welcome. Couldn't agree more on your music comment. Stay safe and have a great day.
Thanks. I was quite happy with the old video i made and only went there again to test the new camera. Only after seeing the footage i thought it would be a good idea to combine it.
