Is there now an option to charge the iPhone from the remote,
especially in the winter?

Hi, Gregor Queck. Thanks for reaching out! When using an iOS device with the Mavic Mini remote controller, the remote controller will not charge the mobile device, and there's no option yet available in the DJI Fly to charge iOS devices.

As I requested this feature many months ago
and I was promised the engineering team would look into its implementation:

The progess is that they have moved on to the mini 2 and don't care about adding any features to the mini 1 beta edition..
