Yesterday, as we were celebrating my 60th birthday with my family over a nice steak patio dinner cooked to perfection by yours truly (3" bone-in ribeye and filet, sous-vide for 4 hours, finished on a castiron skillet)



I could not help but notice another nice sunset at play.
I asked the kids (all grownups and living separately) if they want to see - and fly - the drone, and after an enthusiastic "yes' (I admit, I might have coerced them a bit) we all went out to the driveway and launched my M2P.
As I have explained in my other post, there was something wrong with the setup ("show effect", I guess) and the drone refused to go above 30ft. Since I was not sure what it was and didn't what to lose the fast-changing light, I have decided to take the pictures at that level, as opposed to my usual 400ft.
I kinda liked the low-altitude result, at least on the 180 version.

Thanks! I have found sousvide to be a great reliable tool for my kitchen when it comes to low temp cooking, like a rare steak. And an inexpensive bag sealer is also a great way to save some perishable stuff for later.

My vacuum sealer is useless,  I keep threatening to hack it and make it connectable to my real vacuum pump in the workshop.

And it's super easy to cook. Spice, seal, 1hour per inch in sousvide, finish on a cast iron skillet to get the crust. I'd say the actual time is less than 15 minutes, the rest is just waiting.
