You could always make them better though.
Could be the picture but it looks like there is a sharp angle on the pad holder where it attaches to the controller antenna. Get lid of that angle and change to a radius.

If it has the angle that it looks to have in the picture that is where it will fail.

I have also printed a very good tablet mount for the Ipad Mini. If anyone would like one in the UK and does not have a 3D Printer send me a PM and for a small sum to cover material cost and postage etc I could send you one. They are very good

Great DIY solution.  

Printed lanyard and hook and been using for a couple of weeks now. Both work great., I had to extend the top and bottom half a cm to
accommodate a Yagi and my ipad case!!

They are quite smooth after a good sanding and fit well.
