I tried to update 0880 firmware for three hours, but failed again and again.


First I tried to use wifi to update, but didn't go through.


Next, I used my laptop and login my account. Download is fine, transmit is fine, but updating progress until 16%, it failed. Tried again, it needed to start over-download/transmit/updating. It failed more than 10 time, total 3 hours.


Anybody faced the same situation as me? How to solve this problem?

Make sure you’ve got at least 3GB free space on the internal storage.

Yes, my Smartcontroller has more than 3Gb free space. I cleaned all flight-log and caches before updating.

It seems 16% is Max installation.

Be sure to remove any SD card and then set the auto shut off to never before starting update.

Hello there. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. As stated above kindly please remove the SD Card from the DJI Smart Controller and then try updating the DJI Smart Controller with the DJI Assistant 2. Thank you.
