Hi all.
Here is some footage of me and my brother having a blast and flying our DJI Drones around the local area where i live, i own the Mavic Mini and my brother owns the Mavic Pro 2, as you can see at the beginning of the footage it seem's as if we got a little too eerily close to each other, we had a good time flying around the farmers fields and getting all sorts of images and videos.
The video is a little short at about 20 seconds long and the close encounter/call happens at the beginning of the video, but let me tell when watching it back it was a true PHEWEE moment.
Peace To All
Mark.
Edit : Quick edit to the video to allow embedding, had it disabled so it would not play on DJI Forum sorry all.
Hello there mark117h. Thank you for reaching out and for posting this video you have filmed. That was a close call. Have a safe and a happy flying always.
Cheers Suren.
We do fly safely and to the best of our abilities, I think that my brother was trying to show me how good the sensors on his Mavic Pro 2 was.
It certainly was closer than I would have flown K6CCC, my brother did pull away though as we can see in the video, I believe he realised himself that it was getting a little bit too close for comfort along with me showing him the vie from my drone.

Aye, it certainly was a close call, thankfully where I do go flying there is not a lot of people about so if he did hit my drone it would have ended up in the farmers fields as that is where I fly a lot of the time.
Cheers

That’s pretty handy but probably would have been a right off.
It is a great place for flying as long as you ask the farmers/land owners,it would have wrecked the drones if they landed badly as there is quite a few large boulders jutting up here and there along with some stray stones, so yes it would have been real bad, luckily we had no issues.
He may well have done, I know when he backs away it was probably when I was saying to him to look at my screen as he is closer than I think he thought.
Cheers DowntownRDB.
I am glad too, as at moment I cannot afford to get another drone at this time, although when I can I will be getting a Mavic Air 2 for sure, however I must admit that I absolutely love my Mavic Mini.

I loved the Mini but just wanted a bit better camera and the MA2 having Occusync was a bonus. Stay safe and have a great day.
