Hello there DAFlys. Thank you for reaching out and for posting this interesting video for the DJI Mini 2 that you have came upon. Great find and thank you for your support.

Ok, have I missed an update.  Did not think the mini 2 had follow me function?

Follow Mode, does he have a new firmware update ? Or is he thinking of a different drone?

I think he was referring to this video about the follow mode..

Interesting video you shared DA.  He had me thinking at the end when he said Follow Mode.

He might be thinking of Litchi which added support for that on the Mini 1 and have said mini 2 will be supported within 6 months.

Everything is correct, QuickShots can do something like this.

Actually,  frost this morning,   no wind and bright sunlight.  Makes a real change.

Waiting for snow here.  We keep getting yellow alerts for it but it keeps missing us.  Friends further west have had a few inches overnight.

Sounds like the weather person is teasing you a bit.  Hope you get some of that white stuff soon.

Only and probably if you make videos for you and friends...
For commercials you will need at least an MA2...
Mini 2 flare is awful, never have seen such poor quality lenses from a drone that pretends to be 4K...

I'll find out soon,   but from the sample footage/photos Ive seen on here its pretty good.

We work with drones in Commercial and industrial and started to incorporate DJI instead of Parrot...Cannot say that was a mistake, as we can deal with them good...But such bugs as DJI had, never seen at others...
Skipping the bugs part, being positive, the MINI2 is good if weather is calm...but at guts of 20-30km/h at 50-70m high, the movement is pretty unpredictable in footage and needs processing...this equals time equals money...Also have tested the stability of M2...in wind is not so tolerant and will ruin the footage...
A 30 min clip from MA2 gives me for sure a 2 min quality footage...a 30 min Mini2 in small wind is possible to give me another try ))
So...for emergencies is good....for quality footage i do NOT recommend it.

yes that would be good but im on IOS but will buy the Smart controller if they update that to be compatible with the Mini 2.

I misunderstood your reply and yes lets hope they release the SDK to all as it will only be good for users but they are probably worried they will add features of the next model up but the DJI Mini 2 could easily be the most popular drone ever as has few restrictions and would love to see features like Hyper lapse added and time-lapse

They already added features for the mini 1 so I doubt they are too bothered.
