Hi to All.

I have some issues with my Osmo Action cam.
1. Why is it that the osmo action does not install firmware from sdcard...even though I put the firmware file 01.10.00.40bin in the sdcard root. plugged it in the cam and switched it on and nothing happens.

2. I have installed the firmware via mimo app but I think it installed wrongly cause
In the menu it is all in white and no blue when I select some settings. why?
Also the ANTI FLICKER is not clickable. why?

3. What does the 4 digit number 7251 after the firmware number mean?

Would appreciate to have a reply as I've written to DJI 3 times and they're not answering at all.

DJI Osmo Action firmware was updated by your Mimo App, you want to update the Camera, on the same support page are about three topics showing how.  if you head there to see or see the vid I done  you are missing a step.

you will need that Txt file, that you do not mention or know about.

Please again, get the firmware  place on the  card like you did, and with the  txt file  that  is correctly done the firmware will load back in?

however, I did like  you said, copied the text file together with the firmware
place it in the camera, switched it on and nothing.
It does not install.

It says that the sdcard is empty.

I checked the files are there and in fact they are.
firmware and text file.

this is the file .  exactly  how did you create the txt file if you did not create it, its not going to load,  the link I provided got the correct tfile

I created it in notpad andcsaved as .txt

   you  did not correctly do it. a good reason why its not working.  until you correct the  file name it will not work.

I've put your file which you sent me and it worked firmware updated successfully but nothing changed...I mean the text is white and not blue and the ANTI FLICKER is greyed out...not clickable.

Awesome the  firmware is refreshed.
all text are white,
and anti flicker is grey when  on the main screen what blue dot is shown when opened?

I simply showed.  older fw had color DJI felt color is not helpful,

I will do some further tests as I've just got it.

Rocksteady is blue. and he menu lines are blue.
When I initially first time updated the firmware the rocksteady was blue and even the text which was selected was blue. Then all of  sudden text came white but rocksteady remained blue.
oh well....as long as it works fine...it's ok with me.

I ask what was the original firmware you were on.

when you connected to your machine the old color was blue, now its no longer  just a example.

When I bought the camera I did the firmware update to 01.10.00.40
At that time the text was blue together with rocksteady and the underlines of the menu headers. The Anti Flicker was on, L mean, I could set it on or off.
Then after some days of usage and testing I realized that the text wasn't blue like before.
and the Anti Flicker greyed out. non usable.

So I wanted to refresh the firmware with the thought of getting everything back as it was the first time I loaded firmware 01.10.00.40.

But it didn't come back....
