Hi Adam,
I have a few pointers. Keep your videos around 2 minutes. Anything past that and you start to loose peoples attention. Try to make a story out of it. It can be anything. Not all the footage has to be from a UAV. mix it up with some ground shots. Study how to pan/ zoom / track your shots. Don't just make one long continuous video. There is a time an place for a continuous shot if it serves a purpose. Edit your clips to the beat of the music if possible.
Some areas inherently lend themselves to beautiful scenery, and some areas are blah. It you have blah subject matter challenge yourself to make it interesting by the music, editing, and the way you capture the subject. Time of day (Sunrise/ Sunset) can liven things up.
