hello everyone how are ya all doing? im not bad im a bit longer in the tooth now and it shows lol its a crazy time last year but did get two weeks on the road round the North Coast 500 to Thurso and
down into Fort William to visit family. the first day of my holiday my exhaust fell off the car lol so it
sounded like a Sherman Tank on the road for two weeks lol

i picked up one of these drones for a crack (Gladius Mini)
a bit diffrent from flying as more hazzards underwater
your on a FPV safety cable 100 meter max but ok
off a boat. the wee sub only been about 12 meters deep so far
the footage is good iv noticed shrimp on the sea floor
and filmed divers training in the Quarry with sunken
cars and boats

I have multiple channels.
One is for tricks and tips (I'm trying to get that one up to speed too)
The other one is my personal channel. That has quite some subs already, but not an engaged audience.

I have more, but these are the ones I use the most.

Separate hobbies made me make multiple channels.
I thought that was handy.

yeh i decided to try another channel as well for Pc gaming Montfrooij
but my channels don't get a lot of traffic they have always been
quiet lol iv not done much flying for a while now and need to
get back on the horse lol

In my (humble) opinion it is best for the viewers to separate the various subjects into separate channels.
So that you don't get bored with my trains and trucks video's when you are there for tech stuff.
But Youtube decided to punish me for this behavior (and many other small youtubers) by introducing a ridiculously large threshold of subs and views you need per month to be able to monetize your vids.

Now I won't get rich from it, but the steady stream of small amounts did add up in the long term.
So I hope to get 3 channels to this point where they all 3 will generate some income, but it is quite hard to get your channel to that point.

Good thing I don't do this for a living, so at least I have the fun of spending quality time with my hobby

Scotland's beauty is hard to top! That underwater drone give a nicely different perspective.

Beautiful footage.   Kind of reminded me of the 3 years that I was stationed in Thurso.

Thanks Depp its got 3 different power settings
and iv had it in choppy seas and its like a torpedo on high power
but stability of the camera is weak in rough water but finding
sheltered spots from the wind is no problem
3 three hour battery if you stay in low power
and keep the lights low

About 2 weeks back while on a dive outing I got to see a Gladius Mini in action.  The owner was surveying a ship wreck debris field at 95 meters depth.  He showed me some of the footage and pictures - awesome.  He said it could shoot 4K UHD video or 12 MP photos if memory serves me right.  Quite an impressive mini-sub.

Other than the very high winds on occasion I really enjoyed my time in Northern Scotland.  Good luck with your move back up to that area.

It definitely is an amazing mini-sub.  I think he said that his version has a 200m tether.

With all the drone restrictions coming out recreational flying may well be severely minimized within the next 2 years.  

I've increased my time diving and upgraded most of my dive gear.  If my drone hobby gets crippled by federal regulations then I'll just devote more free time to diving.

yeh your spot on there DowntownRDB it will get worse
i think as time goes on best to try other things
i dabble with a camera and gopro's as well for filming
so if drones go the way of the dinosaur i still have something
to do lol
