Dji has added flyaway cover to their Care Refresh packages.

Makes sense now, it's all coming together regarding the FW updates for the Mini 2 and Air 2 recently.  Hopefully folks realize you need to purchase DJI Care to begin with!

That's only going to further the dumbing down of flyer understanding.
By calling it flyaway cover, new pilots are going to think that there is such a thing as a "flyaway".

Unfortunately Dji has not given much specifics as to what they consider a Flyway. Pilots will assume because their drone took off because of their fault for flying at 500 meters high in 60kmh winds Dji will cover them.

It would appear that DJI is using the term "flyaway" the way drone flyers have been using it for years.
It means .. I lost my drone (and don't know why).

It's just cover for when you can't find the wreck.

Note the service fee of the Flyaway coverage is much higher than damage coverage, understandably.

I agree with Labroides & Suren flyaways are very uncommon.  The belief that flyaways happen often will taint the perspective of new pilots and will result in a congestion of the DJI Care & Refresh system with erroneous claims.
