Or you can call DJI Support and have them check if the drone has be activated before.

If the drone was sent in an opened box why not switch everything on, connect a phone that has the App installed and see if the drone will fly? If the drone has not been activated it will ask you to activate it, you need not activate it but the drone will not fly until it has been activated.
If the drone was in a sealed box then I understand asking the question.

Hi just bought my first drone Mavic Air 2 from Grays online auctions.  Drone powers up, and not a mark on it, but there is a network error when trying to register. From reading other posts would seem that the serial # has something to do with it , could one of the gurus please check S/N 1WNBH4600200EK

Hello Stephen, my apologies on piggybacking this conversation. However it pertains to a question ive got or situation rather. I recently purchased mavic mini 2 after some time of watching a couple friends of mine flying theres. Man these drones are really cool. So i found myself one for a great price on one of those online garage sales basicly. Upon purchasing after being reassured that i would be up and flying after gimbal repair. Repair is done however it is telling me that i have a binded aircraft to another account what can i do about this. Thanks again for time and consideration with this.
