I am considering to get a mavic mini 1 for my little sister, she’s not a professional photographer or flyer, but loves shooting things. So I am considering a mavic mni for her birthday. Do you think if it is good enough?

Mini 2 is much better than the mini 1.

Get a Mini 2 instead.
Better in almost every regard. (except for the price maybe)
If I can add one more thing to the list.
The Fly More Combo is quite a good investment and will get her much more flying fun!

It is more than good enough, especially for the price now that the Mini 2 is out. The not so big difference between the two is even less if your main interest is pictures.

In my opinion even a Spark would have been a very nice option to save money if it wasn't for the almost halved flying time, which I believe is the main drawback of all the earlier small drones before the Mavic Mini.
