It was a HOT day July 1!

Fun fact,  due to lockdown people can't go swimming at the moment so to get their cold water "fix" they are using garden ponds or filling up dustbins.

Yea, I'm a Summertime person. As I was editing this, I thought maybe I should save the idea for a snowy day, but those are pretty rare here.

Fortunately, we don't have "lockdown" here. And with all this empty space, I can spend all day in the country and not get near anyone.

Though I did meet an Osage Park Ranger out that day.

Dad was giving me the hard times lecture:

"I walked 2 miles each way to school." (That's how far I walked)
"Barefoot" (I was not impressed yet)
"In snow up to my waist." (I did wear boots when there was snow.)

"Um, Dad? You lived in Tulsa. This is Northern Illinois. We have snow that deep."
