There is an update for the DJI fly app. Version 1.2.4.
On the official site of DJI there is a link for this update to the google Playstore (for Android). But in the google Playstore there is only the old version 1.2.1.
So for Android useres, they can't update on de Playstore also.
But Android users can download the APK file to update the DJI Fly app. So, for Android, there is an solution.

But I bought a new iPad mini (2019) only for flying with the DJI mini 2.
When I click on the link (on the official website of DJI), I reconnect to the Apple app-store. There is no update also. There is version 1.2.2.
So for IOS users, there is no possibility to update to version 1.2.4.
And for IOS, the only possibility to update is in the Apple App-store. There is for IOS no such thing as an APK file, or something like that.

For the moment it is maybe no problem.
But, when there are more firmware-updates for the Controller and the mini 2, the product (controller and mini 2) becomes maybe better, but when the version of DJI Fly 1.2.2 is getting too old for the changes in the firmware, maybe it will causes problems.

So, my question is: What about the new update for IOS?
Does anybody knows why the Apple app-store doesn't put the new version of the DJI fly app in the store?
And why is it impossible to update the DJI fly-app for IOS users?

In the google Play-store, there is version 1.2.1. But for Android, no problem, because there is an APK file.
But for IOS, an update seems not possible. And DJI must know about the old version in the google Playstore. Thats why DJI put an APK-file on the website.
And DJI must know about the impossibility of update the app for IOS users.
DJI recommend always update the firmware and DJI fly app.
How to update my DJI fly app IOS to version 1.2.4?

Hi, I was waiting for the latest app as you, but I have another problem. I am unable to update the latest version of firmware through the app. And I cannot update my DJI care as well. Anyone has the same problem?

Patience is the answer. My iPad has updated to version 1.2.5(425) (7th Feb 2021)
