hi, anyone knows if turning the internal sharpening of the Mavic 2 pro to '-3' will there be just no sharpening algorythm or would there be even smoothing or sth? Would '-2' mean already some little sharpening?
thanks

The problem is the noise reduction. The lower the sharpening the higher the noise reduction and fine detail is utterly destroyed.

Anything less than +2 and it destroys things such as foliage.

But yes, all settings have *some* sharpening, even negative ones.

ok that´s unfortunate that we cannot control noise reduction seperately. So what´s your prefered setting, +2?

If you use under +2 sharpening you'll find fine detail like foliage etc turns to mush.
The problem is, if its an area with good solid lines and patterns (urban area, rooftops etc) then you get a lot of moire pattern from the sharpening.

So for DLOG i end up using +2 unless its an urban type scene then its +1.

*Sharpness* you can bring up in post.  What you cant fix is detail thats been eaten by noise reduction.
