I was wondering if someone knows if there is a library (mobile) for mapping a certain area. For example: give the points of a polygon and get the resulting points of the mapping. Attached image as an example.
Are you asking about collecting the coordinates for each flight line waypoint? If so, none of those programs will do that. The most likely would be to export the flight path as a KML and extract them from the file. You could download Yuneec Datapilot and it can export a KML, but you need to be aware that it may not be applicable to you drone to maintain the correct overlaps.
Yes, my main goal was to have a library (Android/iOS) that I can include into my app. I ended up creating an algorithm that provides me with the mapping pattern based on a given polygon. Thanks a lot for your comments on this.
