S-1000, plugged in my battery and got a bigger spark than normal...the beep beep on initiation sounded like it was double...LED flashed some yellow but I had it in atti then LED went dead. Quickly changed battery, same thing. Then I started to look closer and the PMU was getting hot. Unplugged the battery. I had an extra PMU and LED so tried them and same issue. Went home, changed the positive lead on the 1000, no luck. Lightbridge seems to be ok, I get the green led on video but red on control...expected. The A2 has the red led. I ordered a new bottom board to see if it might be that but wanted to see if anyone has had or heard of a similiar problem? DJI...is it possible the A2 could have got blown or what could be causing the PMU to get hot?

yea...I was trying to see if anyone had this happen because I'll just get the send it in answer...more important to me is why the PMU was getting hot or what could cause it...like if the A2 is blown would it do that...this 1000 has been flawless

DJI Help please! S-1000 and suddenly my PMU gets hot...I lost LED but the esc's beep on start up. I replaced the bottom board, tried another pme and led...no change, the pmu gets hot...I cannot connect to computer by USB as it doesnt see the connection...same on 3 different computers...This 1000 has been flawless with no issues, no changes, no updates that could have caused it. Just suddenly happened when pluggin in a battery. I know someone had this same problem about a month ago but dont see any resolution. Can you help me out?

The US Service Center was moving in a new bulding. Don't wait for a answer, make a phone call.

Yea..I did call them Friday...guy said he never heard of such a thing happening but I could send the whole unit in...Me: The A2? DJI: No the 1000 Me: You want me to ship the whole 1000? Dji: Yes

Then ship the S1000. If your location near LA visit DJI in his new office.
