I have a question on where settings are stored and why they would change. On my Phantom 2 + the settings are stored on the bird. Is this the same with my P3P?
Here is what I have seen multiple times (with the P3P). I use an iPad Air and mostly my iPhone 6. I will set the height limit to 600' and it will intermittently go back to 400 feet (I do this because I sometimes start a 100 + feet below hill top). I also have Multiple Flight Mode in the DJI Pilot app go to the off position (maybe once every 15 flights).I have not updated the firmware to V 1.2.6.
Any ideas? Thanks for any thoughts.

Why not conduct your own experiment... Use the first device and put settings at a ridiculous level.. ...

Great idea. I will do that. I'm going to take some time off from work so I'll be flying a lot.
