This is a video I hashed together of the Roodeplaat dam wall, after heavy rains due to hurricane Eloise.
Any comments, tips and crits would be welcome. I very seldom do videos with my drone, mostly photography.

Very nice! In USA, we're not supposed to photograph things like that so terrorists can't use our photos to plan attacks

The dam gets use for a lot of boating, fishing and one area is a nature reserve, with animals free roaming. It is not unusual to fish, etc, with Kudus and Zebras and the like drinking close by.

Like most dams in South Africas Northern area, water hyacinths is a huge problem, and can take up to 70% of the surface. Most washed downstream in the floods though, which would just pollute the dams and rivers further.

Very cool place. Like the "natural" sounds. My tips: use short clips, 2 to 5 seconds, edit to the beat (yours is pretty soft), don't change direction when filming or if you do do it very softly.

Good tips. I find myself concentrating on finding a great photo so much, that I don,t think about video at all. Mostly video on the way to whatever I want to photograph.

Hence, not having short, smooth clips to make up a good whole.

Music wise, I almost always mute drone video music when I listen, so it seems as if I went overboard not to have the music too loud. Will change that with the next one.
