I don't care how much you try to convince me Tentoes it still looks cold (must be as you have boots on ).
Interesting bit of footage though. I take it that the snow won't stay there long? In the meantime stay warm.

Cold? It was about 45 degrees (5C) and mostly calm. If not for the slushy snow, barefoot would have been fine.  Annoying thing is my boots got soaked. Hmm. They USED to be waterproof.

It was 72 (22C) yesterday. Snow is gone.

The falls come from overflow of the lake, which is warm (2C) water from below the ice, so it probably would not freeze up. It could have had a thin coating during the height of the storm, but I was hibernating that day.

This was the third snow of the winter, but we don't get temperatures like this! Was close to 0 (-18C) in 2017 for a few days, but it was -15 (-26C).

The water pipe coming into the house is not buried very deep and froze. There is a freeze-proof hydrant in the front yard and that still worked. Only had that for 3 days. Never lost power or internet.

I assume that the lake is quite deep then to keep the water a bit warmer?

That was wonderful.  On the tech side I really liked how the opening stages had a repeated backward movement that matched the music, loved the flow of the sound matching the river and overall just beautiful.
