Hi All,

I have a question which needs to be answered before I Buy a Dji Mini 2.  I bought a new phone December 2020, a Samsung A12.  I checked the supported devices listed on the DJI Website page.  My phone is not listed as a supported phone, but the spec stated was Anriod 6 or upwards, and a 64 bit Operating system, which this phone has these specs.

I downloaded the Dji Fly app from the main Dji website and it installed with no problems, it starts up with no issues but I can not comment on it working when a Mini attached to it.

What is the policy of Dji if you use a phone not on the Supported Mobile Devices List?? if i have a problem with my Mini 2 (if i buy one) will Dji still give full support and help with any issues?  I dont want to buy the Mini 2, then find out if anything happens Dji will not support me as I used a none supported phone.

My opinion on this...If DJI says 64 bit is required, I have to assume it is. I would give more credit to DJI in this case than internet lists. Maybe at one point the Fly app did not require it, and 32 bit cpu and 32 bit Android 4.4 or 5.x worked for it and the device made the list, but not now, 64 bit required.  It is important to understand that 32 bit and 64 bit use different instruction sets for programming, and while there are times that 64 bit OS and CPU can run backwards compatible, it is not true that a 32 bit OS and CPU can run forwards compatibility. I don't think they have one.  If you have a problem they will still try to help you.    I wouldn't worry about it.
