What’s New?

• Added ability to switch goggles to DJl FPV. Tap Settings then Device and select Switch to DJI FPV.
• Fixed issue: coordinate information on custom on-screen display was incorrect when using third-party modules in some areas.
  

Notice:

• Restart the air unit, goggles, and remote controller once the update is complete.
• If the firmware update fails, restart the device and DJI Assistant 2 (DJI FPV Series), and try updating again.
• Goggles must be manually restarted each time after switching between DJI FPV and DJI Digital FPV System.
• To switch goggles back to DJI Digital FPV System from DJI FPV, tap Settings then About and select Switch to DJI Digital FPV System.

Hi, I bought a pair of stand-alone dji fpv goggles V2 and don't have the fpv drone as I will be using my fpv goggles with an air unit. How can I get v01.00.06.06 firmware on it as I can't seem to activate firmware v01.01.0000 without having the dji fpv drone. Thank you

Hi, one more issue: DJI Assistance 2 (fpv) seems doesn't work on Mac Siri. The driver HoRNDIS could not be installed correctly.
Command line installer shows [Process completed], but no security allowance appeared even after reboot. After firmware download process goggles v2 stucks in Updating... and Assistant shows updating error

If you bought the FPV combo you should be good.  

Those of us who bought just the V2 Goggles are currently in limbo if the goggles were shipped in drone mode - we cannot activate them without the drone!  We don’t want the drone - which is why we got just the V2 goggles.

If they came shipped in FPV mode , you can activate with the DJI Assistant app on PC and you are good to go with your air units and vistas.

DJI need to hurry out a firmware fix that lets us choose what mode the goggles boot up in so we can then activate them in fpv mode and get on with our flying.

3 days I've had the new DJI FPV.  4 times I've so far charged the goggles battery.  I'm still grounded as I cannot activate the goggles.  The internet is full of people with the same issue.  Having bought 2 other DJI drones in the last year I expected better.

My FPV aircraft  firmware version out of date?? Just activated and download all current .   Aircraft locked WTF   HELP

Done the new firmware and was able to switch to Digital FPV mode and connect to the Air Unit but now when I go back to DJI FPV mode it cant get signal from the RC and the drone. How many issues!!! I haven't even managed to fly the drone yet.

It's a bug. When you switch back to the DJI FPV mode you need to rebind the FPV drone and controller. It's a pain but litterly takes about 30 seconds.

The switch is in the Goggle menu not DJI Assistant

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!Cant believe that was it? have been waitin for DJI to respond to me since Saturday, even spoke on the phone and he said a specialist had to get involved blah blah.

There are some issues with the firmware of goggles, drone & remote controller. Sometimes the RC and goggles are not working with my iPhone or iPad, when i start the DJI Virtual Flight app. When i use an other usb cable and switching x times the cable, put it on and off it‘s working randomly. Even when i wait x minutes for the iPad so it can connect.

When i set the drone on, the goggles and rc are always connecting successfully.

Was really hoping to see v01.00.07.00 released today...

@fans848f7190 Thank you, I found it and now it works, I can switch between dji digital fpv-system and dji fpv, but unfortunately I have to rebind after every switch. I hope it will be fixed with the next firmware.

I don't have swift to FPV Digital system. My only firmware I've are V01.01.0000 and V00.05.1806e , but with procedure the switch into goggles don't appear...

I am trying to update the drone to version 01.01.0000 via DJI Assistant 2 but it always gives me the same error (both for the Goggles and for the drone) after downloading it.
When you connect the goggles to the application nothing comes out!
But how do you sell such non-working crap?

I am a DJI Dealer and I am about to post the video on how THIS DOES NOT WORK for many of my customers. Pretty sad actually.

unlock streaming restrictions! In Chile, only 2 channels are shown at a maximum power of 40mw of the supposed 8 channels offered by the glasses, from the supposed 10 kilometers to 600 meters, the signal from the glasses and the remote control is lost. Bad there DJI. misleading advertising.

can not activate my V2 goggles. Switch to FPV mode is not available in about>settings. I can only see firmware 01.01.000 and downgrade to 00.05.1806. Please sort this DJI

I can not believe it has been two weeks and with so many people with this and other issues none have been sorted and no new firmware or news.

My main thought is, this is probably non-trivial to fix. Meaning it's badly designed to start with and hard to put right again when it's broken. That's kind of how it is with "features" like activation, licenses, etc., that intentionally cripple a piece of software or firmware. It's awful hard to keep it all working right for legal/buying customers too!

So I imagine it may be a while before we see this straightened out.

comprate las v2 las v1 estan acabadas es como todo en esta vida todo avanza y gracias a dios es asi ...comprate v2 y actualizate las v1 es pasado...como pasa con las fatshark todos los años y nadie se queja ademas fatshark ni se actualiza dji lo a echo muy bien crack

Tell me about it......about to return 2 FPV systems because DJI apparently is too busy to fix this ridiculous bug. At first we where like no big deal DJI will fix it soon......now 5 weeks later NADA!

DJI Please release update posted in this video "Mad's Tech" channel posted today,  Many of us are unable to use our V2 goggles right now, I cannot fly tonight and tomorrow and  forever until you release this update. My goggles are paper weights currently.

Here we are, almost 2 weeks later. Multiple people having this issues and no way to fix it still. Please release the new firmware.

Waiting for updateeeee!!!!

DJI sent to me a new DJI FPV goggles as replacement to my goggles that I bought with FPV drone, because they had burned pixels, but the replacement for the FPV Drone is locked to DJI Air Unit! And they have the firmware 01.00.0603 which does not support the switch to the FPV Drone!!! Do these people know what they send as replacements and for what?
I read here that I need to upgrade to 01.00.0606 in order for the switch to work but it was unable to upgrade through DJI Assistant V2.1.1 for MAC. It fails everytime! Stops after downloading the firmware and dont transmit it to the goggles.. Any suggestions?

can I download my v2 googles from v1.0.2.0 to v01.00.06.06 ?


Im also using the same googles for dji fpv drone.
so if I downgrade the googgle firmware whilst booted into 'fpv' mode, will this leave the current 'drone' mode firmware untouched? (so stay at 1.0.2.0 as need for the dji fpv drone)
