Anyone any tips for removing the lens cover.  I have just got some new ND filters I wouldlike to try but the lens cover wont move. Bar get a vice grips to this very delicate mechanism I was wondering youcould help.  The P3 is only two days oldand I cannot move it so far L

i have seen on other sites that people are wrapping a rubber band around it to help grip. Use the gimbal clamp when removing lens cover.

Use your fingertips around the front edge and apply steady CCW pressure (while holding camera with other hand) and it will loosen right up. Don't grip on the sides, metal is thin and the harder you squeeze the more it will resist.

I used a piece of rubberish cloth. The stuff what is used to hold things steady on the dashboard.
