I wasn't aware that was a thing.   I thought they liked everyone to like and subscribe to get more exposure.

It changes constantly.
But lately it feels like you get pushed when you post often.

I noticed I got a quite some new subs once I started uploading regularly.
Maybe the algorithm did that.

Very good chance,   there is a lot of advice to have a regular upload schedule.
