When using the Sony A7R IV, there are a number of possibilities when it comes to image size and quality.
The aspect ratio of the image can be modified (3:2, 4:3 or 16:9)
SENSOR TYPE35mm full frame (35.7×23.8mm), Exmor R CMOS sensorIMAGE SIZE (PIXELS) [3:2]35mm full frame L: 9504 x 6336 (60M)IMAGE SIZE (PIXELS) [4:3] 35mm full frame L: 8448 x 6336 (54M)
When I would like to switch from 3:2 to 4:3, do I only change the "Sensor Res. Width/Height" settings (= number of pixels) in the camera specs, or do i also need tot change the "Sensor Width/Height" settings? I read that the camera effectively changes the area of the sensor that is used, so I would make sense to change this as well?
I want to make sure that when i select 75% overlap on photogrammetry missions, this is the actual overlap.
