Thanks everyone.  I am having strange feelings in the sense that I am enjoying the flight, enjoying the edit but then feeling a sadness that it is finished... could this be addiction as all I want to do now is the next one.

Remarkable footage.    The Eagle Stone is such an oddity to see.

Looking forward to your next project.  Really enjoyed the Edge Trilogy.

Thanks - that means a lot.  I am working on the final part at the moment and hope to finish it by next week.

That is what I call EPIC. You have a gift for that - looking out for the third part.
Still want to know about that rock.
Keep up the good work

Glad you liked it.  I hope to publish the final part later today.
The Eagle stone, like all such stones, seem to absorb the feelings brought to them.  I remember it from my chidden playing on it but also from moments of solitary contemplation.  As such, and combined with its isolation, it can give a forbidding sense of knowledge and life.
However, in addition to the above, 'Eagle' is a corruption of 'Aigle' a Norse God with Saxon and Celtic variants.  Legend has it that it once threw stones at approaching armies, would move around and would turn about if it heard a crow call.  There was a time when all the men of Baslow would have to climb it before they could get married.  This is no longer the case but there has been at least one spotting of this happening, with a man in full wedding suit, about 10 years ago.
Hope that helps and many thanks.
