Hey,

I was flying a while ago and I basically went straight out somewhere between 3000-4000ft at 100ft and turned around. My flight out was perfect with no issues. It flew straight as planned. On the way back, I noticed my P3 kept yawing to the right. It was slight but enough to throw me off a straight line home. I had to constantly correct for this.

Immediately, I thought maybe it was the wind but it was constant and happeneing over a long distance. I bought it back home and landed then took off again for a shorter flight at about 50 ft and it was doing the same thing. Yawing right.

Any tips?

And you did a compass calibration before this flight.

Funny you mention that because I ALWAYS do one... except this one time.

I find it odd though that I was able to fly almost 4,000ft away with no issues and the problem began on the way back and continued on the next flight.

I had this problem as well. Guess I will chalk it up to compass. There isn't a calibration for yaw is there?

Today and the other day i too had a yaw issue, BUT i never calibrate the compass unless i travel to another state, and never had this issue, will try a compass calibration and see what happens.

i doubt it is your compass calibration. try calibrating your RC first.!!

You know what ! this all started happening after i decided to calibrate my RC, but calibration was ok, or is it ? how would we know if it was perfect ?

willie dont mess with compass, its good. its much easier to try the RC calibration first and see if it works.
