  I'm looking for a safe way to charge my mini 2 batteries whilst camping without an electric mains supply, does anyone use or know if you can safely use a reputable powerbank to charge these batteries? Many thanks in advance.

Yes you can, as long as you have one big enough (and 2amp).  You can also use a car cigarette light socket with USB adapter.
