Continuing excellent weather allowed for a second outing today. This is a little, well preserved Chapel on the outskirts of a large town.Another flight of the Mavic 2 Zoom.

Yes. It only came to our attention as a brand-new Geocache at the weekend. Just had to go and bag it (only 4TF) and photograph it at the same time.

lol.   I tried to put out a new geocache the other week.  The spot I picked turned out to be an existing cache nearby but disabled so it didnt show up on the map until submission,  then I moved it and was told that it was near a mystery cache (which dont show on the map the real location).  Then I got told that all new submissions are on hold because of uk covid rules.  So I gave up.

It should be a disguise for muggles, if it was unearthed it would look like littler at a glance, and the containers are free to make.

I found one recently that was inside a snail shell,  and one that was really weird,   it was a concrete turtle hidden in the woods that they had hollowed out its belly to hide the cache.

We found one in a bird feeder hung in a tree.  The penny dropped after several minutes when I thought:  Hang on, what's that doing in a woodland copse rather than a back garden

The ingenuity of some people in creating Geocaches is impressive.  Fake hollow stones are popular over here.

Ive found a couple of those here,   My original cache was in an ammo box and Ive not found one like that for years,  back when I started they were mostly in ammo boxes.
