I looked at the Support topics on DJI.com and only found a video on
installing a hdmi module on the controller. I found nothing in the
search results for " lightbridge. " Are there other support documents ?

From this, one would logically assume that nothing is required in the Aircraft.

However, in reading a thread from " lightbridge,"  the o p thought they had
created an interference with their routing of hdmi module cable in the aircraft.

So now I'm assuming one is required.

Clarification would be appreciated.

I will not look for the aircraft's hdmi part.
Update. there is no hdmi module for P3P aircraft, just for the controller.

So my question now becomes. Nothing to do physically to the aircraft.
Probably, a software change in the app..........Correct ?
Thanks, Oldranger

Hi, fans4bf52c1a. Thanks for reaching out and posting your concern. The HDMI Output Module is not required for the Phantom 3 Pro/Adv Remote. The HDMI Output Module allows your Phantom 3 Professional/Advanced or Phantom 4 Pro/Advanced remote controller to output a 720p live HD video stream to an HDMI device, such as a screen or goggles. After the installation, make sure that the remote is updated, if an update prompts in the DJI GO.

Aloha fans4,

The "Lightbridge" reference is a boondoggle.  The HDMI Module is a simple installation that as Gamora indicated allows the use of an external screen or goggles, both of which I have used.  (Be sure to do the update!)  You may not get full use out of goggles with head control, but you do get a very nice goggles experience.

Hope this helps!  Take care and be safe!

Aloha and Drone On!
