We had for a while, a lot of swans going around here. And among these White sang Swans, are also a Black one.
But this Black Swan, do not belong to the Danish nature, at all, as it originally belongs down under, in Australia.
So my guess is, that the Swan are escaped from one or other Zoo, somewhere in Europe, and ended here in Denmark.
So I could actually fly very close to the Swans, as they are used to noise from cars ;-)

Yes, Black Swans, do not originally, belongs here in Europe, at all. Black Swans in Europe, are only to be in Zoo's, but some have escaped from there, during the years, and are now to be found from time to time, around in Europe.
As written in the photo, they lives naturally in Australia.

I read that they were originally brought to the UK from Australia in 1791.  So they have had plenty of time to plan the escape.

:-)  Hopefully not these who came in 1791. But they have over the years, increased in numbers, and especially in East europe, there are many.
Here in Denmark, they will be shot, as the are considered as an invasive species. Thats why they are seldom here.

Yes, I did see your movie with the Swan. Swans often in Spring time, gathering together to search for food. So often they are on fields with winter crops. Here near my home, was around 200 collected.
