HI everyone. As the tittle says I got a quad last year and have been trying to figure out whats wrong with it for over a year now. I originally started with a KK2 board. I thought the problem was that cheap board so I just recently decided to buy a Naza M lite. I thought I couldnt go wrong with that I seen videos of people with my same frame flying perfectly with that.

So here is my Build.

FCU: DJI Naza-M Lite W/GPS

OLD FCU:Hobbyking KK2.1.5 Multi-rotor LCD Flight Control Board

Alright I think that is everything.

So here is the problems.

Since day 1 first flight. I can get it to take off and shortly after it becomes uncontrollable. I wish I had a video of it but I cant really record a video and fly it at the same time. It will take off and then within seconds it starts rocking back and forth really hard. Like its over correcting alot. I assumed it was the gains. I tried adjusting those over and over again and it never got any better. No matter what it would eventually juust rock and crash. I thought it was the FCU. So I just bit hte bullet and bought the Naza. After a few days now of trying to fiddle with that. Calibrating ESC's, adjusting gains, checking connections, everyhing i could think of and it is even worse than it was with the KK2 board. It just instantly rocks and loses control. I try taking off slow and fast. I never took it over 10 feet off the ground yet because it is unflyable and always crash lands. I even thought the problem was me. maybe I just dont know how to fly it. I tried flying a friends Dji Phantom with the Naza in it and I can fly it no problem.

So what else could possibly be the problem? I got all motors to start at the same time, they all seem to spin at the same speed at idle. It takes off the ground without much problem. The GPS and FCU are mounted the correct direction. and calibrated. The motors are all plugged into the correct places and spinning in the correct direction. The props are all mounted correctly. The ESC are programmed and calibrated. They are set to Brake off, Medium Timing, Medium throttle response, low voltage cut off. maybe that is wrong? THe next thing I assume is wrong is the ESC or motor.

Thanks I will appreciate any response. I am at a loss now. I dont know what else to do and im 600+ in the hole now.
Also noticed that after take off the led starts blinking constant red. The Battery voltage is good.

From what you are describing usually the first thing that would come to mind would be gains. This is the behavior you well see when the gains are wrong.
However in your case I think it is the ESC's. I have seen this with ESC's before. If I were you I would just buy some DJI ESC's you can find the older Opto30 esc's for a very low price used.
Even new they are low priced.

Try adjusting the puck I do understand the instructions for installing the puck say arrow facing forward however it needs to be adjusted for magnetic north for your are.  There is a offset in my area is between -11.5 degrees. in other my arrow on puck is at about 11 Oclock position (North East NJ).  The declanation can be found for your area by google search.  Have you flown in Atti mode?  If all works well in atti mode for flight and only gets squrily in GPS my guess would be the puck position.

Note after you adjust  puck recal compass.   If it TBE Clockwise adjust Puck CCW.
