What is the reason for the bad image quality in 2.7k mode? You can notice quite large image distortion, like a bend from bad optics. This is not the case with other picture modes.

There is already a thread about it.

Not resolved yet. DJI, please?

Optical distortion in 2.7K

And that thread talks about graininess rather than optical distortion and no expamples were shown.
So it doesn't count for much a lot
For any helpful discussion on the issue, an example would help a lot.

I have prepared examples. It can be seen that the biggest problem concerns only the image with a resolution of 2.7k 60fps. The rest is perfectly fine for this price range. The sharpness of the black lines is due to taking shots below 1m in order to fit the A4 size angle through the entire lens. That's not the problem. I applied red lines in post-production as patterns. The conclusion is that the distortion does not concern the optics, but the image processing. Hot request for a correction of the algorithms, because the final image suffers a lot. Strong deflections of the image are visible in the center of the image while it is moving, especially at 2.7k 60fps.

Actually If you would scroll down to post #9 in the quoted thread you could see the examples of the optical distortion.

Whatever distortion you might see in the third image isn't obvious to me after looking for it for two minutes.

The greatest distortion is in the fourth picture. You should watch it on pc, you won't see much on your smartphone. Well, it finally worked, so welcome among those who saw it. The question, however, was: what is the cause of these distortions? We already know, it's not because of the bad optics of the lens, because the problem would apply to all images.

He was referring to a different pic in a different thread.

What you showed is visible.

I would still be able to accept the bent corners, but these sunken pits closer to the center of the image at the top and bottom are very visible on the finished project.

That's exactly what happened with the first bunch of firmwares for Mini 1.
It can be fixed by firmware.
It looks like they forgot to add the perspective correction for the new video modes (compared to the old Mini)
