My last quadcopter that I used was the the DJI Phantom 3 and I loved it when it came out back when it was not recommended to call it a "drone"... and dealt with the issues of calibration, toilet bowl spinning, and yes flyaways (it was found), but ended up selling it after I finished using it primarily to film our home during it's construction.

Fast forward 6 years, and as soon as the FPV Combo was released, it was an instabuy as soon as I saw the specs and what it could do...basically everything that I wished for 6 years ago in one easy package.  I'll be adding the motion controller next, but am currently practicing manual mode using the simulation app.

Question - I remember having to spin around and calibrate the drone every time I flew in a new location.  I see that the DJI FPV no longer requires this?  When did calibration go away?
