So i have it where the drone (Mavic 2 Pro) and remote are connected (hard to do the connection with the usb wire to get it to work) but now when you go into the Go 4 App, its as if you still need the remote to link to the drone. The remote shows that the drone is linked but on the iPhone 11 (ios 14.4.1), you cant see footage or edit anything. It shows disconnected on the app. I have removed the app/reinstalled it, done factory reset on the drone/controller, re-started the phone/drone/controller multiple times but still have not had any luck. I've even tried connecting the drone/controller to my old iphone 7 and have had the same issue - remote and drone are connected but app shows disconnected and doesnt work. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a difference cable?  And if you are using the bottom port you must remove the side cable.
