Hi there,

I was shooting a hyperlapse, stationary up in the air.. Suddenly the drone became unsteady, went out of control, and rose up by around 80 ft, then headed towards the ground, accelerating, out of control. It crashed at high speed.. smashed into bits. There were no errors or warnings displayed in the DJI Go App.

I collected the drone bits, whatever I could find. I uploaded the flight log to Airdata UAV, and the error showed up in the logs, Not enough force/ESC error. These notifications began when the drone went out of control and started rising. The mode changed from 'TimeLapse' to 'Autolanding' after rising about 80ft, but instead of landing the drone accelerated before crashing.

An investigation by DJI is warranted. There has been a failure at multiple levels, and I'm still in shock.

Best,

Pav
