Hi,

I've just received my Phantom 3 Pro and was just wondering whether the gimbal dial is working correctly. When I turn the dial it moves the gimbal from horizontal to straight down and when I turn the dial in the opposite direction it returns the gimbal to the horizontal position again, but the gimbal won't move past the horizontal position. According to the manual it should be able to move to 30 degrees above horizontal.

Can anyone shed any light on this ?

Many thanks for the link it's much appreciated. I did actually do a search but used the search term 'gimbal dial' which I thought should have brought up anything and everything to do with gimbal dials, but this was obviously not the case as it returned no answers to my question !

Flight Mode icon => Gimbal icon => Advanced Settings
Gimbal Pitch and Limit

You need to change the gimbal settings in the app. By default it does not go up past horizontal.

This is good to know and for keeping the image as free from props / guards  as possible when filming. Thank you DJI

Going up past horizontal should show the props even more.

Absolutely!

There are no dials related to the P3 or its controller.  What "dial" do you refer to?
