Can anyone answer a couple of questions on the airsense feature please.
firstly at what separation distance does it casue an alert on each of the sensitivity settings ,ie at what hight/distance from the dsrone will it trigger an alert.
(and yes i do realise in the UK we dont have this feature as yet i am asking for my bro who lives in florida.)

sorry i've never experimented with the settings so i cannot say offhand. all i can tell you is it alerts from "a long long way away...."
would you say more than a mile ?
and what if say you was at 300 foot and the aircraft was at 4000 foot ?
no alerts im guessing

im not the best judge of distance but i could have my drone on the ground and an aircraft over a mile away will trigger an alert. i get alerts and i can't even see or hear the approaching aircraft yet.
The third paragraph is key (On the precondition...). If the system doesn't confirm the possibility of a collision, there are no warnings. For example, an aircraft is approaching your drone 3000' above and in a climb.
Hello there Ninja63. Good day and thank you for these information you have given on this matter. In addition to this the DJI AirSense is an alert system that uses ADS-B technology to give drone pilots enhanced situational awareness and help them make responsible decisions while flying. This feature gathers flight data sent automatically from nearby aircraft with ADS-B transmitters, analyzing it to detect potential collision risks and alert users well in advance through the DJI mobile application. In addition I will post a DJI link where in you can read more about the DJI AirSense ( https://www.dji.com/flysafe/airsense ). Thank you.
