so you can travel to any place, point A, set it as your Home Point...then fly to another place, point B.  trigger RTH....course lock (move gimbal or yaw, zoom, adjust altitude).  is that right?

I did gather that you could have yaw control on RTH after the update but this is the first video I've seen where you have altitude control as well. Thank you for posting Reinis.

Where you select maps up 3 icons there is a circle H tap on it then tap the up arrow. Then tap anywhere on the map and you can fly to that location.Just tap on screen and push pin appears.
If you have a house in the middle of a subdivision just please the push pin over it and fly to it then move push pin to different locations and fly to it.Also doing that you do not have to change home point

I mean, this is a cool update.  But I am sure it was never DJIs intention of RTH to be used in this Course Lock type fashion.  It would be nice if DJI would just add support FOR Course Lock on the Mini 2 period!

I have already paid for Litchi.  I welcome DJI to release the SDK to them sooner than later after this BS of needing a 64Bit Processor to run the damn DJI Fly app!  Really URKS me that an Entry level drone and such a basic app has been made to require this architecture. I will gladly use Litchi exclusively once they have support for my Mini 2.

I am struggling to understand why you can change the altitude during RTH.. I knew the latest firware lets you "yaw" around during the journey to home.. But I don't know you could change the altitude.. Is this not a bit dangerous?

Say you had your RTH height set to 30m to clear some trees and you put the controller down during RTH, pressing the left stick down.. This could cause it to fly into an obsticle. (Of course it could be argued you should not put the TX down when its still in height).

Or say you the App/phone crashed or ran out of power.. And you had to do RTH to get the drone back.. What if you accidentially changed the height using the left stick and didn't realise.

I would have assumed that height was locked and the Mini2 would fly back at a set height until it got over home and then dropped. Has anyone else verified this behavour as I was under the impression that all you could do was change the YAW not the Height.

Edit: Could it be that he is not using the left stick to change the height and just using the RTH Altitude slider to do it??
