Too bad you did not recover the GoPro - might have had some more interesting video of the crash.

as bad as this is, you cant fault the drone one bit, you picked a terrible flying spot with many power lines it was inevitable. Great content tho

the gopro cant be more than a few hundred feet at maximum from the drone I would imagine....goodluck finding it later on when spring fills that canyon with green

Just shows a typical lack of sense and disregard for the sport of flying drones - this is what's taking the hobby from us! All performed for self-ego and hits!

Irresponsible flying

I'm literally yelling out, "power lines, Power Lines, POWER LINES!!" ...as I sit at my desk.  I know I've made mistakes in the past and probably will in the future, it appears you know you made one here too.

Not to piggy back or pile on the OP, but yeah.

Flying around critical infrastructure is irresponsible. I would never, ever fly in such a maze of powerlines. Promoting irresponsible flying will cause even more severe regulations on the drones.

That was bad!
