  Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB): 3 bracketed frames at 2/3 EV Bias
  Panorama: Sphere, 180°, and Wide"
  
  

The Mini 2 is stated as being able to take 3 shots at 2/3 EV, it does n't, it only takes 2 shots.
DJI please can you fix this,  it has been requested else where but no reply.

Is anyone getting 3 shots ? I am on Android using a Galaxy S8+.

This is a really easy programming correction and should be easy to correct.

hi,

photographing in jpg+raw. I never look at the jpegs, but I get 3 raws in AEB mode.

On iPhone and I get three no probs at all.

I do get 3 on android

Thanks for the feedback, I will freshly instal the Fly app and see if that cures it.

Maybe your not counting the correctly exposed shot? I get one normal exposure, one over and one underexposed.

I only get two shots when I press the shutter button for the AEB setting. This has also been flagged up in another post.

I'm getting 3 shots, but only 1 stop apart in exposure.

I'd love to be able to widen that to 2 stops bracketing. Or even 3 stops.

I already wish they were 1 stop. Only getting 2/3 EV between AEB pictures.

I'm only getting two shots. And yes, I wish they were one stop too.

Checked again this morning and definitely only getting two shots. Galaxy S8+.

I Am also having the same issue, only 2 shots in AEB.  Using Samsung galaxy s10. Fresh install of the DJI fly app and firmware is up to date.  DJI please look into this further it seems like a problem many people are having.

I tried this today I my self only got to shots, so I tried in just jpg mode and got 3 shots then back to jpg+raw and only got 2 shots using, ipad mini 5 all softwares and firmwares up to date, strange

Despite what I posted earlier, I'm back to 3 shots in JPG & Raw, but until they're a stop or so apart, it's a moot point.

why don't you just shoot in manual adjusting the exposure for each frame ?

That's what I do, but it would be nice to just have to hit the shutter once. If they've gone to the effort of putting the functionality in, they might as well go the whole hog and make it useful.

the aeb is only 0.7 on my p4p   so thats even worse   lol
i always shoot manually so use histogram to expose any frames if needing to blend in ps

Always had three photographs. Though agree that there should be a setting to adjust the stop (1, 2 or 3) you want for the AEB. It can be done manually but it means more time looking at the screen and less time on the drone (VLOS).

just took my Mini2 first time on vacation and just realize: also just 2 images in AEB with app version 1.4.8 on Iphone xr (14.6).

It DID always 3 exposures in AEB until last week. Same procedure, same phone.
Before leaving I did an update.


Switching JEP / JEP+RAW and reinstalling didn´t help.

Firmware drone: 01.03.000
Firmware remote control 04.11.0016
Flysafe 01.00.01.23
App version 1.4.8

Would be a great disappointment to find my drone not working correctly the first time I´m in this wonderful mountainious area.
Any help?

Update (15 min later):
playing around with several changings. Found out that after restart of app the gallery suddenly shows now Bracketing 3 images where it has shown 2 images before. When taking a new AEB it still shows just 2 images (?!). It needs a restart of the app to realize the 3rd image again!

Hi there, too,

unfortunately I don´t have my microsd-card-reader with me to check it.
However I disabled the auto download and when playing back the images the app should ask directly the sd-card. After the restart of the app the brackeded (?) image is showing a 3 and when clicking it there are 3 images, showing a well visible brightness level. So I keep my fingers crossed to still find them when back at home ;)

Check the pixel size of those two images.
I suspect you are looking at one image and a cached image of the same one.

Meanwhile able to check the SD card on PC: always 3 images, 3 different exposures, 3 normal file sizes.

The App has a bug

I reinstalled the app and everything works ok now.. getting 3 images

Hi, anyone know of a recent bug regarding AEB? I used Litchi to take a 5 shot AEB and now when I use dji fly, I still get 5 shot AEB but all the photos are washed out... yeah I know... why use litchi, was trying out the follow mode etc after dji released the sdk.

Is there a way to factory reset the dji mini 2? I have tried uninstall and reinstall dji fly but I still get 5 AEB brackets.

I looked into DJI assistant but the Mini 2 doesn't seem to be supported.
