The requirement to have remote ID is coming in many geographies.

I see how to turn it on in the DJI Fly app, but how do you view it ?

Is the signal sent out as a sort of Wi-Fi ident?

I had mine turned on and tried to find a wifi signal but found nothing.

There is no remote ID feature implemented yet,  hopefully it will come with a future software update,  at the moment there is no specification approved that can be implemented.    The UUID you saw is for the DJI Airoscope product.

a) there is already a standard for the transmission (Broadcast Remote ID or Network Remote ID or something else) and
b) that this is even needed for the Minis?

Incidentally, the input field in the flyapp has nothing to do with the eID.

The standard that Ive seen covers what it should do,  not how it will operate,  there isnt enough details to program a solution that would work across vendors.

Exactly, there isn't even a standard, so it can't work at all. Fortunately, as far as I know, the minis don't even need that. Furthermore, e.g Network Remote would require a hardware upgrade and an internet connection.
