Read a few comments on another forum re using tablet on Mini 2 controller rather than phone. Now I already own 3 tablets (1 apple, and 2 android) but they are so old that they cannot download Dji fly app. Saw that Argos had reduced the price for the Huawei media pad 5 lite so bought one last night to see if it would work ok. Just tried it outside and it worked fine. Didn't fly the drone far. Checked UAV app conditions, wind 25mph, gusting 47mph so discretion being better part of valour, I am back in the warm and wrapped round a big mug of tea. Stay safe!

Yes, found the larger screen better for my old eyes and yet found the amoled screen on my Oneplus 7t phone is also brilliant when playing back on the phone.

It fits in the holder?  My Samsung a20 with a case will barely fit in the clamp of the Mini 2's remote.

I got an extender for the controller from Amazon and thought I would need an extended cable as well but the cable supplied with the fly more combo will reach if you turn the tablet round.

Stupid of me, but I forgot what one I got. I do think it was the Hensych one on Amazon.

I had a regular iPad Air that I wasn’t using so I ordered a mount for it . I love the big screen for my old eyes.

Just made one out of a 1" by 5" chunk of aluminum.  My phone fits great now.[view_image]

Here I was digging with an old Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE tablet, on which DJI believes that you can not install DJI Fly, and DJI Mimo with a video editor turns out to be possible....

So keep in mind DJI is just deceiving us about the lack of the ability to make the DJI Fly program compatible with x32 OS!!!
